Monte Vettore, the Sibilla, and Monte Bove protect our crops that, located within the National Park of Monti Sibillini, enjoy a protected environment, the only one able to guarantee the quality of our legumes and the grain with which we prepare all our foods

Going up from the Tenna or Aso valleys, the profile of the mountain range rises in the heart of the Apennines, and the unmistakable profile of Monte Vettore (2,476m) interrupts the landscape, as if to create a fracture with the rest of the whole Apennines. It is here, in the reign of the legendary Sibilla, that in 1993 the National Park of Sibillini Mountains was born (over 70,000 ha) with the aim of safeguarding the environment, promoting a sustainable socio-economic development and favoring its use for every category of people, so as to create a “Park for everyone”. Wolves, golden eagles, peregrine falcons and numerous endemic species are the most evident signs of a diversity and biological richness that, together with the charm of the abbeys and the medieval historical centers scattered at the foot of the mountain range, contributed to create an ancient and suggestive atmosphere where time seems, even today, to have stopped to pay tribute to a reality of such extraordinary beauty. That’s were our work started, taking its name from the mountain village where we cultivate our legumes.
